PRESS RELEASE of Education Administration Board Meeting with Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan region E. Nurgaliyev

Education Administration Board Meeting will be held on November 1, 2024, with the participation of Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan region E.Zh. Nurgaliyev. The meeting will be attended by 340 people, including deputy akims of districts and cities, heads of education departments, heads of methodological offices, headmasters of schools and directors of colleges, deputy headmasters of schools and deputy directors of colleges responsible for educational affairs, as well as directors of Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region, the East Kazakhstan regional branch of Orleu National Centre for Professional Development JSC Institute for Professional Development of Educators, Teaching  Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The meeting will address the following key issues:

1. Education System Development: challenges and future.

A discussion of current issues and prospects for developing the education system.

2. Implementation of Project 943 - Development of Target Schools in East Kazakhstan region.

A review of achievements and future plans as part of this Project.

3. Current challenges of training of personnel with technical and vocational education in the context of the Year of Working Professions

A discussion of the directions for developing technical education and the importance of working professions.

4. Prevention of violence, suicide and deviant behavior in educational organizations

A discussion of the organization of a safe environment in educational organizations, management and control mechanisms.

Based on the Meeting’s discussions, specific recommendations and solutions will be proposed to improve the current state of the education system.

The Board Meeting will be followed by two breakout sessions:

Section 1: A meeting of Deputy Akim of the region E.Zh. Nurgaliyev with headmasters and directors of secondary, special, technical and vocational education organizations, as well as deputy headmasters and directors for educational affairs.

Section 2: A meeting of Director of Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region A.O. Baizhanova with heads of education departments and heads of methodological offices.
