Regional workshop “Specifics of Teaching and Psychological-Pedagogical Support of Children with ASD”

On October 18, 2024, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with specialists from Asyl Miras Autism Support Center held a regional workshop titled “Specifics of Teaching and Psychological-Pedagogical Support of Children with ASD”. The workshop took place at Rehabilitation Center for Children with Special Educational Needs in order to share best experiences and practices.  

The workshop was attended by 35 educators-specialists from Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Units of the region, educators of special kindergartens. 

During the workshop, the speakers shared their experiences in developing professional competences of educators working with children with autism spectrum disorders, promoting social adaptation (integration into society), providing correctional psychological and pedagogical support for children with autism spectrum disorders.

Following the results of the workshop, during the feedback session, the participants received answers to their questions.
