Methodological hour for methodologists of district/city education departments in the Kazakh language and literature

On October 16, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a methodological hour for methodologists of district/city education departments in the Kazakh language and literature. The event focused on the exam “Intermediate assessment 2023-2024 academic year for students of grades 5-8, 10 in the subjects “Kazakh language”, “Kazakh language and literature”.

The goal was to analyze the conducted intermediate assessment work of students in the subjects “Kazakh language” (T1), “Kazakh language and literature” (T2) in accordance with the requirements of the State Compulsory Standard of Basic Secondary Education.

During the event, detailed information was provided about the documents serving as the basis for the exam, its goals, objectives, requirements for conducting the exam, the content of tasks, recommended norms for intermediate assessment, evaluation criteria, recommended comments on conducting the exam, and the steps of the exam.

They analyzed the results of the competitive exam in the subjects “Kazakh language”, “Kazakh language and literature” in schools with the Kazakh language of instruction (T1) and the Russian language of instruction (T2). According to the results of the intermediate assessment, the opinions of the participating teachers were heard. The difficulties encountered during the assessment were analyzed, recommendations and opinions of methodologists were taken into account.
