“Uniform education: realizing values.” A regional workshop focusing on the works of our compatriots: writers and poets “Men de zhurmin, tugan zherge nur shashyp”

On October 10, 2024, Zhambyl Secondary School of Katon-Karagai district hosted a regional workshop titled “Uniform education: realizing values”, dedicated to the works of local poets, and writers on the topic “Men de zhurmin, tugan zherge nur shashyp”. It was held in accordance with the action plan of Örken Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

The goal of the workshop was to discuss the implementation of values through the works of our compatriots who have become people’s favourites. The workshop was attended by headmasters and teachers of small schools of Altai district.

The main part of the event was dedicated to showcasing the works of local authors. The teacher of the Kazakh language and literature M. Ayaganova presented an overview of their works. The leader of Young Researcher Hobby Group R.O. Augonbayeva organized a tour of a gallery with students from grades 8-11, highlighting the work of the writer Alibek Askarov.

The second part of the workshop featured A. Ualikhanov, a teacher of the school’s mini-center demonstrated how values were promoted among students and their parents through Uniform Education Program. The parents performed Kazakh kyuis accompanied by national instruments.

Deputy headmaster for academic work, G. Ashurova presented the school’s achievements, the results of the project and sectional work. G. Badisoltanova, a labor teacher, shared her teaching experience.

The third part of the program was held under the moto “Innovation – the Path to the Future.” R.L. Musinova, a chemistry and geography teacher and G. Askerbek, a teacher of physics, organized a TEDx project with 6th graders, and S.B. Akezhanova, a teacher of mathematics conducted a master class on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Education”. Primary school teachers A.B. Abraimova and M. Meiramkhanova, along with biology teacher R.O. Augonbayeva presented their achievements as part of the Guest Family Project.

Moreover, under the guidance of A.D. Mandaibayev, deputy headmaster for educational work, members of the school self-government presented the Life Hack Project, sharing useful tips.

The final part of the event included a quiz organized by D.B. Baurzhanova, an English teacher. The workshop concluded with a festive concert “The Teacher - A Great Personality”, prepared by J.B. Bazhenov, music director and G.K. Tyumenbayeva, dance club leader.

The participants of the workshop expressed gratitude to the speakers for sharing their experiences and presented impressions of the possibilities for applying the acquired knowledge in the future.

The moderator of the workshop was Gulnara M. Boshayeva, a methodologist of Educational Management and Educational Organizations’ Activities Monitoring Department of Örken Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
