Meeting of Regional Commission for Minors’ Rights Protection

On October 10, 2024, a meeting of the Regional Commission for Minors’ Rights Protection was held under the chairmanship of E. Nurgaliyev. The discussion involved the first deputy prosecutor of the region, a representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in East Kazakhstan region, the Commissioner for Children's Rights and other officials from governmental organizations.

The main topics of the meeting focused on preventing child traffic injuries, preventive work with minors who are under supervision, as well as monitoring schools regarding issues of violence and bullying. Representatives of Police Department and Education Administration presented their achievements and proposed measures to enhance child safety.

Following the meeting, it was decided to strengthen legal literacy programs among children and parents, to hold events for families facing difficult life situations, and to develop safe routes for schoolchildren.

All participants actively engaged in discussions concerning the proposals and recommendations.
