Online training on the use of Online Mektep module

On July 30, 2020, East Kazakhstan Regional Center for New Technologies in Education jointly with Bilim Media Group LLP held a training webinar on the use of the latest digital module Online Mektep on the Bilimland.kz educational platform.

The module provides an opportunity for students of grades 1-11 to learn through the use of digital educational resources and has feedback with teachers.

The online training familiarized experts from education departments of all districts and cities of the region, vice-principals and subject teachers with innovations and various ways of teaching schoolchildren via this platform.

During the workshop, the trainers clearly demonstrated the functions of the digital module, such as monitoring of the learning process, the way to form timetables, types of feedback with a learner, methods of feedback with a student, as well as how to check and assess homework, to engage students and a teacher in a video conference.

The trainers’ efforts were positively assessed by the participants of the workshop. The participants noted the advantages of the portal, such as the availability of virtual laboratories in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography.

More than 300 people participated in the workshop.
