Regular meeting of Regional Commission for Protection of Minors’ Rights

On August 19, 2024, a regular meeting of the Regional Commission for Protection of Minors’ Rights took place to address health-related issues of children: these included the prevalence of suicidal tendencies among minors, the readiness of educational organizations for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year, current issues of children's rights’ protection and ensuring the street and road network near educational organizations with safe road infrastructure.

The Commission was attended by a representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan in East Kazakhstan region, the Commissioner for Children's Rights of East Kazakhstan region and representatives of government agencies.

Following the meeting, instructions were issued to strengthen the efforts in this direction.
