Subject section meeting for school librarians as part of the August Conference

On August 15, 2024, a regional subject interactive session on “Applying Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in Educational Process” was held for school librarians, as part of the Regional August Conference of Educators titled “Digital Kazakhstan: Education in a New Reality”.     

20 school librarians participated in the section meeting.

During the section meeting, the following experts shared their experiences:

Asel M. Tulepova, a librarian of Aliya Moldagulova Secondary School of Education Department of Samar district shared her work experience on “Okyrmandardyn kyzygushylygyn arttyrudagy tsifrlyk tekhnologiyanyn roli”;

Meruert N. Zhailybayeva, head of Reference Work Sector of A.S. Pushkin Library of East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan region presented on “Electronic libraries: useful links, their application in practice and providing access to readers”;

Bakytgul T. Kaliyeva, head of Reading Rooms and Book Storage Center of A.S. Pushkin Library of East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan region presented on “Local history resources: websites and databases, resources of East Kazakhstan region”;

Zhiger B. Toleshov, a librarian of Information and Communication Technologies Center of A.S. Pushkin Library of East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan region presented on “Innovations on the shelf: neural networks in library work”.

The participants of the section meeting discussed an instructional and methodological letter regarding “The features of organizing the educational process in secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the 2024-2025 academic year” and adopted recommendations.
