Subject section meeting for primary school teachers as part of the August Conference

On August 15, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, as part of the Regional August Conference of Educators “DIGITAL KAZAKHSTAN: EDUCATION IN A NEW REALITY” held a regional subject interactive session for 32 primary school teachers of the region on “Applying Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in Educational Process”.

The goal of the meeting was to provide instructional, methodological and consulting support to teachers at the beginning of the academic year, equipping them with recommendations for organizing effective classroom activities, and to provide teachers with the opportunity to share best pedagogical practices at the regional level.

During the section meeting, the following experts shared their experiences:

- Zhadyra S. Temirbekova – a methodologist for primary education at Education Department of Katon-Karagai district, presented on “Using digital technologies in the educational process of rural schools”;

- Natalya V. Melnikova – a primary school teacher of Regional Specialized Lyceum School for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, presented on “The potential of using artificial intelligence in the work of primary school teachers”.

The section meeting involved discussions around the instructional and methodological letter of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on “The features of organizing the educational process in secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the 2024-2025 academic year”, adopting methodological recommendations for using digital technologies in the educational process.
