Regional interactive meeting “Application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process”

On August 15, 2024, a regional subject interactive meeting “Application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process” was held as part of the Regional August Conference of Educators.

The topic of the Conference: “DIGITAL KAZAKHSTAN: EDUCATION IN A NEW REALITY”, was set by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “Economic Course of Fair Kazakhstan” and reflected in the National Report “Quality Education Accessible for All”. This topic is one of the urgent issue of our time.  

The first part of the interactive meeting addressed the issues of management under digital transformation of education, digital tools for managing the learning process to enhance the quality of learners’ knowledge, and discussed the main types of Internet fraud and the steps to take when dealing with fraudulent activities.

The second part of the event involved 1200 people who participated in 22 subject section meetings (teachers of preschool education and upbringing, primary school teachers, teachers of mathematics and humanities, physical education, basic military and technological training, psychologists, librarians, teachers of inclusive and additional education, methodologists, headmasters and deputy headmasters).

Skilled teachers shared their experiences. The participants discussed the instructional and methodological letter “The features of organizing the educational process in secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the 2024-2025 academic year”.

In order to develop the efforts of the methodological rooms, as well as to support the innovative activities of educational organizations and expand creative connections between methodological rooms, identify and disseminate their best practices, the following methodological rooms were awarded diplomas according to the results of the 2023-2024 academic year rating:

First Degree Diploma - Methodological Room of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district;

Second Degree Diploma - Methodological Room of Education Department of Glubokoe district;

Third Degree Diploma - Methodological Room of Education Department of Ridder town.
