Financial literacy

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “Economic Course of Fair Kazakhstan”, highlighted the importance of financial literacy for the sustainable economic development of the country and improving the welfare of the population. In his Address, he emphasizes the need for educational programs and initiatives aimed at increasing financial literacy among the population, from schoolchildren to pensioners. This contributes to the creation of a financially stable society capable of making comprehended and responsible financial decisions.

A training workshop on financial literacy for school teachers has been launched in the region since August 7, 2024. 310 teachers will be trained as part of the program. The goal of the training workshop is to increase the level of financial literacy among schoolchildren by preparing qualified teachers.
