A meeting for educational organizations of Ust-Kamenogorsk city to address an anti-corruption culture and preventing illegal fund-raising

On June 24, 2024, in order to implement a comprehensive action plan for fostering anti-corruption culture, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a Zoom meeting for educational organizations of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on the topics: “Building an anti-corruption culture” and “Preventing illegal fund-raising in educational organizations”.During the meeting, Deputy Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on East Kazakhstan region N.K. Sadykov briefed the participants on the latest changes in the anti-corruption legislation. He highlighted the criminal and administrative liability for illegally accepting and receiving gifts, or collecting money for various events in educational organizations.
