Republican seminar to address the outcomes of the Republican Project “Methodological Assistance to 1000 Schools”

On May 29, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a republican seminar entitled “Systemic intra-school control as an indicator of school quality”.

The seminar was attended by the representatives of Akmola, Almaty, Abai Methodological Centers, headmasters of regional schools, deputy headmasters and teachers, a total of 60 people in offline format and 300 people in online format.

Deputy Chair of Education Quality Assurance Committee of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.T. Meldebekova welcomed the participants of the Republican seminar.

Director of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region S.N. Kovalenko briefed on the outcomes of the project “Methodological Assistance to 1000 schools” during the 2023-2024 school year.

During the event, the head of the Department of Örken Methodological Center A. Zh. Kantayeva summed up the activities of mentors and 50 schools involved in the project.  

A methodologist of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region D.L. Shakerova shared the work done as a mentor and presented the results of providing methodological assistance.

R.M. Bakiyev, deputy headmaster of Kogedai Secondary School of Education Department of Zaisan district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region informed the participants about the progress of work, methods and techniques used to overcome difficulties and barriers that contributed to improving educational quality in the school.

Following the seminar, the mentors and schools participating in the project “Methodological Assistance to 1000 Schools” received certificates from the Chair of the Committee for Education Quality Assurance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. N. Dauenov.
