WHAT IS THE SECRET OF ALL-EMBRACING DEDICATION TO THE PROFESSION?

“You must love what you do, only then will your work, even if humble, rise to the level of creativity,” said the writer Maxim Gorky.  Zhanar K. Boranbayeva, a master of her craft, embodies this philosophy. She is a resourceful, brave and energetic person with an unwavering love and respect for the teaching profession, who gives advice and has a great influence on her schoolchildren in shaping their career aspiration (it is impossible to express in words). Because, her pedagogical skills are truly remarkable. She often tells her school children, “Teaching is the most precious and honorable profession for me.”

The philosopher Al-Farabi once said, “A teacher is a person who by nature understands everything that is said to them, retains in memory everything that they saw, heard, and forgets nothing, a teacher is a person of high intelligence and mind, being eloquent, greedy for art and knowledge, very content with the soul, noble and respectful to the loved ones, just even to strangers, shows kindness and kindness to all, should be brave and courageous, knowing no fear and timidity,” and Zhanar K. Boranbayeva embodies all these qualities.

As we transition from childhood to adulthood and enter the vast world beyond school, we inevitably face the question: “Who will I be in the future? What profession will I choose?” This question once troubled Zhanar Kamanovna, but she made the right choice, dedicating 35 years to her chosen profession.

Zhanar K. Boranbayeva works as a biology teacher of the highest category at Akhmet Baitursynov Secondary School No. 20 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region. She keeps pace with modern requirements by integrating innovative technologies into her teaching.

Let's delve into the achievements of this teacher with 35 years of teaching experience. For her contribution to education, she received the following awards: the international medal, the commemorative medal “25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan” according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 29, 2016, the international medal “Master of Education” for her contribution to the development of science and education, she was awarded the republican medal “Ulagatty Ustaz-2022” for her unique creativity and winning a prize in the online competition “Ulagatty Ustaz – 2022”. She participated in the competition “Excellent Students of the Year” organized by the Republican Portal “Myn Bala”, where she contributed to increasing the importance of the education system in the life of society and the government, created opportunities for the development of creative abilities of young people, a bright future for the eternal country, was awarded a diploma for conscientious work in educating the younger generation and the nomination “Best Biology Teacher”, for preparing a student at a high level for the Republican Olympiad “Young Biologist” in biology among the 11th graders and was awarded the First Degree Republican Diploma, organized in order to develop the creative abilities of students, identify talented children and support them. Zhanar Kamanovna was awarded a certificate of honor for her active and fruitful contribution to the republican educational competition “Uly Dala Balasy”, a letter of appreciation for her diligent preparation of students for the International Olympiad, a letter of appreciation for her diligent preparation of students for the International Olympiad held in Antalya. She became the winner of the regional round of the Republican Competition “Best Teacher Award – 2022”. 

Zhanar Kamanovna’s dedication to sharing practical experience is evident in her numerous contributions to professional development: she conducted a master class with teachers and students on preparing for the international PISA study, spread her practical experience on “Effective methods and approaches of preparing for the SNT (Single National Testing)” across the Republic, with the participation of the winners of the Republican Competition “Best Teacher Award – 2022” she shared her experience at the regional workshop “The road to mastery.” She shared her work experience at the regional workshop, worked as a task developer for final assessment in grade 9, served as a member of the regional jury, a member of the jury of the City Olympiad, headed the branch of Biology Department, and the Natural Science and History Methodological Council, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 – successfully completed English courses CEFR LEVEI and has a certificate.

Zhanar Kamanovna’s tireless dedication and courageous character, drive her continuous pursuit of learning and great research. She empowers her students to develop their knowledge and guides them on their learning journey. Having mastered some aspects and secrets of upbringing, she appropriately, carefully, correctly and accurately uses them in her practice achieving great success in her career.

Her unwavering commitment to teaching profession results in receiving awards by her students at City, Regional, Republican, International Olympiads and for scientific projects. Moreover, her pedagogical research also contributes to increased interest in the subject among underachieving learners, and their consistent success in various republican, regional, and city environmental events.
