Regional meeting “Single Education Program: values and ways of its implementation”

On May 21, 2024, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region with the participation of Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan region D.B. Sapanov, held a meeting with the pedagogical community of the region on the topic “Single Education Program: values and ways of its implementation”.

The meeting was attended by 80 people: heads of education departments, methodologists responsible for educational work, headmasters and deputy headmasters of schools, deputy directors of colleges, as well as invited guests, representatives of Employment and Social Programs Coordination Administration of East Kazakhstan region, Department for Education Quality Assurance of East Kazakhstan region and the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Records of General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on East Kazakhstan region, law enforcement agencies, representatives of Mental Health Center, Regional Psychological Support Center, public organizations and NGOs.

During the meeting, as part of the Single Education Program, the participants discussed the issues of fostering creative citizens with qualities such as dignity, honor, loyalty, patriotism, responsibility, kindness, respect for elders and children, as well as explored ways to enhance efforts to ensure children’s safety, tackling related challenges and identifying solutions.

Representatives from various departments and organizations discussed opportunities to improve the situation regarding the prevention of suicidal manifestations.

The event resulted in protocol-based instructions on preventing self-destructive behavior of minors.
