On May 23, 2024, in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Kazhymukan Martial Arts Palace is hosting an exhibition of Best IT Projects of Schoolchildren and Students of Colleges and Universities. This event is the key large-scale IT exhibition in the education in the East of the country.

The exhibition aims to:

  • showcase and discuss new innovative technologies in the education;
  • enhance the professional competence of subject teachers in the use of ICT;
  • exchange of experience in involving schoolchildren in scientific and technical creativity;
  • share advanced pedagogical experience on engaging students and schoolchildren in scientific and technical creativity;
  • promote best pedagogical practices in the application of information technologies.

Participants will present their work in 4 sectors – Maker Fest, Junior Skills, Robotime, ClusterPro.

The MAKER FEST sector will showcase inventions and layouts developed by students, covering such areas as alternative energy sources, agricultural automation, autonomous vehicles, smart devices.

The JUNIOR SKILLS sector will feature projects exploring various aspects of working with the cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, computer-assisted teaching and the Internet of Things.

The most interesting robots and inventions created by schoolchildren will be presented in the ROBOTIME sector.

The CLUSTER PRO sector will provide a glimpse into the devices and technologies that may appear in the near future due to the creative and innovative thinking of college and university students.

Following the results of the exhibition, independent experts will name the Best IT Projects, while the Audience Award will be determined through online voting by exhibition visitors.

The products of leading IT companies offering their services for the education sector will be presented at the exhibition.

The Award Ceremony for the winners of the Regional IT Hackathon “ŞYĞYS ÖRKENI 2024”, IT Championship “Skills for Geeks 2024” and the competition among teachers of the region “IT-Ustaz Award 2024” will take place within the framework of the exhibition.
