Qualifying round’s results of Open International Robotics and Programming Festival “R:ED FEST”

On May 17, 2024, Ust-Kamenogorsk city hosted the qualifying round of the Open International Robotics and Programming Festival “R:ED FEST”. The aim of the event was to create conditions for schoolchildren’s technical creativity development, to assess and boost their skills in programming and designing robots. The festival was held in the following competencies: Line following, Sumo, Relay Race, Creative category. The festival was held as part of the Bolashak Engineer Project, due to which robotics labs were equipped in 20 schools of the region thanks to the support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation, the Engineering Education Development of Foundation and Arman Engineering Company. The Project has also provided teachers with methodological support.

A total of 68 learners aged 7 to 17 participated in the Festival.

According to the results of the festival, the winners are:

In the competence of Line following:

- in the age category of 7-9 year olds:

I place – the team of Ridder town, Kuznetsova Adelina, Kuznetsova Angelina;

II place – the team of Ulan district, Bagdatov Nurislam, Kabdualiyev Tore.

- in the age category of 10-13 year olds:

I place – the team of Ridder town, Kotvitskaya Diana, Anselm Lina;

II place – Nurzhanov Erkhan from Zaisan district;

II place – the team of Ulan district, Serzhan Zhanadil, Dulatuly Samat;

III place - Zubarev Evgeny from Altai district.

- in the age group of 14-17 year olds:

I place – Makat Amanzhol from Altai district;

II place – Kokenov Merkhat from Tarbagatai district;

III place – the team of Ridder town, Khaisanov Vladislav, Gureyev Nikita.

In the competence of Sumo:

- in the age group of 7-9 year olds:  

I place - Cheremushkin Denis from Ridder town.

- in the age group of 10-13 year olds:

I place – the team of Ridder town Ulyankin Nikita, Antropov Gleb;

II place –Klyuchnikov Timofey from Altai district;

III place – the team of Ridder town, Dick Maxim, Shelkunov Konstantin;

- in the age group of 14-17 year olds:  

I place – the team of Ridder town, Gribenshikov Ivan, Nechayev Nikita;

II place – Kokenai Adilet from Altai district.

- in the age group of 7-9 year olds:

I place - Duman Alau from Glubokoe district.

- in the age group of 10-13 year olds:

I place –Afanasyev Andrey from Ridder town;

II place –Manatbekov Ramazan from Glubokoe district;

III place – Kravchenko Alexey from Ridder town.

- in the age group of 14-17 year olds:

I place – the team of Kurchum district - Nukenov Torezhan, Kentai Nurtugan;

II place – Kokenova Ansar from Tarbagatai district;

III place – Mauletkhan Aibota from Glubokoe district.

The winners of the festival were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees and received gifts.

All participants of the qualifying round of the Open International Robotics and Programming Festival “R:ED FEST” received certificates.

The winners of First Degree Diplomas will participate in the Republican round of the International Festival “R:ED FEST” on October 28-29, 2024 in Astana city.
