Results of the Republican Olympiad in the English, German, Russian languages and literature, Russian language in schools with the Kazakh language of instruction

On 26-30 April, 2024, Astana city hosted the traditional Republican Olympiad in General Education Subjects among the 10th-11th graders in the English, German, Russian languages and literature, the Russian language in schools with the Kazakh language of instruction.

The goals and objectives of the Olympiad are to develop creative abilities, deepen theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students, facilitate self-realization of individuals, and create conditions for identifying gifted children.

The winners of the regional round of the Olympiad participated in the final round.

The Olympiad consisted of two rounds: theoretical and practical.

According to the results of the final round of the Republican Olympiad, the silver medal and II Degree Diploma went to Aisulu Sarmanova (German), a 10th grader of Lyceum School No. 12 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The bronze medal and III Degree Diploma went to:

- Lev Fateyev, an 11th grader of School-Gymnasium No. 10 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city (German);

- Kira Sidorenko– a 10th grader of School-Gymnasium No. 10 in Ust-Kamenogorsk (Russian language and literature)

Altynbek Nurdaulet - a 10th grader of BILIM-INNOVATION for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city (English).

The diplomas of Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded to:

Timur Matveyev is an 11th grader of School-Gymnasium No. 10 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city (English);

- Ramina Shagiyeva is a 10th grader of School-Gymnasium No. 10 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city (German);

- Alexandra Abakumova is an 11th grader of School-Lyceum of Altai town, Altai district (Russian language and literature).

Leisure activities, psychological trainings, as well as excursions to the sights of the city were organized for the participants of the Olympiad in Astana city.
