Regional review-competition of marching and singing skills of Zhas Sarbaz clubs, dedicated to Fatherland Defender’s Day among college students

On April 30, 2024, as part of implementing the Single Education Program, the regional review-competition of marching and singing skills of Zhas Sarbaz clubs, dedicated to Fatherland Defender’s Day among college students took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk city at Military Technical School of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The organizers of the review-competition were Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and Ust-Kamenogorsk Service College.

The goal of the review competition was to promote patriotic education as the most important means contributing to the comprehensive harmonious development of students, fostering citizenship among young people, as crucial spiritual and moral values.

200 students from 12 colleges of East Kazakhstan region took part in the review-competition of marching and singing skills.   

The guests of the event were Zh.A. Satbaldiyev, Deputy Head of Defense Department of East Kazakhstan region, I. V. Frolov, Chair of the Council of Veterans “Zastava Tarlandary” on East Kazakhstan region, A.V. Dolgov – a member of the Council of Veterans of Afghanistan, the leadership of Military Technical School of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

During the review of marching and singing skills, the young patriots demonstrated their marching skills, team spirit, marching discipline, and performed a marching song. The jury evaluated the performances of squads based on the following criteria: uniform, precise execution of manual in place and while moving, clarity in singing, and giving commands.   

I place in the review competition of marching and singing skills among students of Zhas Sarbaz clubs, dedicated to Fatherland Defender’s Day, went to Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction College.

II place went to Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College.

III place went to Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College. 

The nomination “Best Captain” was awarded to the team captain of Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction College.

The nomination “Best Ceremonial Marching” was awarded to the team of Higher College of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The nomination “Best Marching Song” was awarded to the team of Kumash Nurgaliyev Higher College.

The team of Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction College won in the nomination “Best Manual”.
