About the Host Family Project in 2024

On April 30, 2024, a meeting was held with the heads of district and city education departments participating in the Host Family Project.  The meeting was attended by the heads of 8 districts involved in the project, Deputy Head of the Regional Education Administration D.T. Shaukhina, Director of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region S.A. Kovalenko.

The meeting's agenda included discussions of the concept and implementation plan of the Host Family Project for this year. D.T. Shaukhina highlighted the prerequisites for implementing the Host Family Project. Deputy Director of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. Abetayeva presented the concept and implementation plan of the project. This year, the project will be implemented from June, 15 to June, 30 in 2 districts and Ridder town, where 120 children will be hosted by 50 families in 6 villages.      

The selection procedure for host families, their requirements, living conditions and nutrition standards for children, ensuring safety conditions, and functioning language schools were analyzed during the meeting.

During the meeting, the head of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district G. Koshenova, Deputy Director of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region Zh. Sagandykova provided suggestions and additions to the Concept.
