A workshop for English teachers with the participation of an international foreign lecturer from Oxford University Press

A workshop for English teachers took place on March 27, 2024, in accordance with the action plan of the spring break school of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, aimed at providing methodological support and introducing digital resources for teaching English, as well as showcasing practical ideas.

The workshop titled “Classroom Management and Integration AI into Language Teaching” was organized with the support of Oxford University Press.

Aysu Simsek, an international foreign lecturer from Oxford University Press (Istanbul), made presentations during the event.  

The workshop consisted of two sessions: theoretical and practical, where teachers effectively shared their methods and approaches related to specific educational technologies.

The workshop presented methods of interactive learning, illustrated the application of communication technologies and methods and online tools for English teachers in their teaching practice.     

All participants of the workshop received certificates and gift sets from the event organizers.

The workshop was attended by 100 English teachers.
