Information on conducting an interactive lesson “Nauryz - the beginning of national consciousness!”

The bright festive holiday of Nauryz, marking not only the vernal equinox, but also the renewal of nature in Kazakhstan, symbolizes fertility, friendship and love. On this day, people dress up, visit their relatives and loved ones and exchange kind wishes. For the eastern peoples, Nauryz is like a New Year, as both holidays are considered as heralds of a new life. Nauryz holiday in Persian means nothing but “a new day”.

During one lesson, students vividly showed the diversity of the wonderful spring holiday: national games, traditions and customs, elements of Kazakh and Eastern cuisine, Kazakh songs and dances. Interaction with the online audience included watching video materials about the celebration of Nauryz in the districts of the region, showcasing schools of Altai and Shemonaikha districts. A unique highlight of the lesson was conducting debates on this topic in a panel discussion form.

On March 13, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Shokan Ualikhanov School Lyceum No. 3 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held an interactive lesson in digital format on the topic “Nauryz - the beginning of national conscientious!” with the aim of fostering a respectful attitude to the traditional values of the people of Kazakhstan, promoting humanistic ideas, values of peace, kindness, mutual respect among people.
