Results of the regional competition for developing educational excursion route guidebooks “Tourist knowledge trail”

On February 29, 2024, on the initiative of Akim of East Kazakhstan region, E.B. Kosherbayev, Education Administration held the first-ever regional competition for developing educational excursion route guidebooks “Tourist knowledge trail”. The event took place at D. Serikbayev EKTU. The event was fruitful and gave excellent results.

More than 60 learners of general secondary schools and additional education organizations of the region took part in the event.

The competition consisted of 2 nominations:

  1. Excursion routes of my small homeland;
  2. Excursion routes of my region.

In her welcoming remarks, the Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, I.A. Chernysheva, mentioned that such competitions provide opportunities to discover new bright and talented children who serve as examples for others.

According to the results of the competition, the winners in the overall team events are:

- I place – the team of East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- II place – the team of Zhambyl Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- III place - the team of Ulan district.

In the nomination “Excursion routes of my small homeland”, the winners are:

- I place – Secondary School No. 46, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

- II place – East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- II place – Maloubinka Secondary School, Glubokoe district;

- III place – Station of Young Technicians, Katon-Karagai district;

- III place - Zhambyl Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- III place – Kh. Mustafin School-Lyceum, Zaisan district.

In the nomination “Excursion routes of my region” the winners are:

- I place –East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- II place – Kh. Mustafin School-Lyceum, Zaisan district;

- II place – T. Ryskulov Secondary School, Tarbagatai district;

- III place – Secondary School No. 46, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

- III place – Zhambyl Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children;

- III place – Secondary School No. 2, Ridder town.

All the winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts, and the participants received certificates.

A competition is a competition, but it is a competition of the best of the best. This is a starting point that opens up new opportunities for professional growth.
