Regional online seminar “Raising awareness on preparing education organizations for state certification”

On January 25, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, according to the annual plan, jointly with Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region, held a regional online seminar for headmasters and deputy headmasters of 29 schools of Tarbagatai, Kurchum, Altai and Samar districts. The seminar aimed to explain and prepare education organizations for state certification in March and June of this year.    

The goal of the seminar was to explain and prepare the documentation of education organizations for self-assessment of educational activities in accordance with the Order No. 486 dated January 5, 2022 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approving the criteria for assessing education organizations”.

During the seminar, Botagoz A. Raimbekova, Head of Education Quality External Assessment Sector of Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region, familiarized the participants with the key directions and criteria for preparing education organizations for state certification.

The points of the assessment criteria of education organizations were clarified in accordance with the general rules.

The seminar featured the experiences of schools that had passed state certification -Basic Secondary School No. 14 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Istok Private General Education School of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

During the seminar, Natalia V. Krivosheina, headmaster of Istok Private General Education School, and deputy headmasters for academic activities Evgenia V. Shilova, Anastasia V. Korolkova, as well as deputy headmaster for educational activity Svetlana N. Kurmasheva and deputy headmaster for academic activities Aizhan A. Baimukhyrova of Basic Secondary School No. 14 made presentations on the main directions for preparing educational organizations for state certification and the documentation for conducting self-assessment.

Following the seminar, the speakers answered all the questions, and the participants expressed gratitude to the organizers.
