Regional online workshop “Features of developing educational programs for economic specialties”

On January 9, 2024, according to the annual action plan, Vocational Education Center of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance held a regional online workshop on the topic “Features of developing educational programs in economic specialties”.

The aim was to spread the experience in developing educational programs for economic specialties.

The workshop was attended by the deputy directors of colleges responsible for academic and educational activities.

During the workshop, Shyrailym K. Sembina, Deputy Director for Academic Activities of the college, went into detail about the general disciplines and basic modules for the specialty “Accounting and Audit”, “accountant-cashier” qualification.

Deputy Director for educational and industrial activities Zhanar D. Umutbayeva explained and demonstrated the distribution of hours for professional modules, observing the rules of dual education (with 60% dedicated to practical training).

Following the workshop, during the feedback, the speakers answered the questions raised by the participants.
