Information about the Master Class for teachers of the Kazakh language and literature with the Russian language of instruction according to the action plan of the winter holiday school

On 4-5 January, 2024, a master class was held on the topic “Effective teaching methods and means of stimulating schoolchildren’s learning the official language”. It took place in accordance with the action plan of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, for teachers of the Kazakh language and literature with the Russian language of instruction of Shemonaikha and Glubokoe districts

The goal is to familiarize with the professional skills of the teachers – the winners of the competition “Best Teacher of Language Disciplines - 2023”, as well as to share their best practices.  

The master class was conducted in the format of a “methodological platform” by Bakytgul M. Kosherova, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Secondary School No. 2 of Education Department of Ridder town of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, a teacher-researcher, the winner of the competition “Best Teacher of Language Disciplines - 2023”, the winner of the Award of Akim of the region.  The master class took place at Yu. Gagarin General Secondary School No. 3 of Shemonaikha town of Education Department of Shemonaikha district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

During the master class, in collaboration with the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Secondary School No. 2 of Ridder town, Zhanar T. Kazhimoldanova shared her experience and presented effective ways of fostering reading literacy in the Kazakh language and literature classes. 36 teachers of Shemonaikha district took part in the seminar.

The second master class was conducted by a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Yu. Gagarin General Secondary School No. 3 of Education Department of Shemonaikha district, a teacher - researcher, the winner of the competition “Best Teacher of Language Disciplines - 2023”, the winner of the Award of Akim of the region Zukhra T. Kusainova, jointly with her colleague Botakoz T. Omarova at Y. Altynsarin Secondary School of Education Department of Glubokoe district, shared their experience, demonstrated the methods and techniques used in teaching the official language. The seminar was attended by 39 teachers from Glubokoe district.

Upon feedback, the participants thanked the organizers and speakers of the seminar for sharing their experience and demonstrating professional skills. The speakers received certificates.
