Information about the conducted English language master class for teachers of Ulan district

A master class was held for English teachers of Ulan district, in accordance with the action plan of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region. The session was led by the following English language teachers: a research teacher of Secondary School No. 46 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, the winner of the Award “Best Teacher of Language Disciplines” Raushan Zh. Mukhametrakhimova and an English teacher of this school, a teacher - expert Ayaulym U. Kaliyeva on the topic “Developing communicative skills in English classes through non-standard tasks”.

The master class was attended by forty English teachers from 32 schools of the district.  

During the master class, the participants were offered ways to improve schoolchildren’s communicative skills through non-standard tasks.    

The speakers introduced a working system aimed at increasing schoolchildren’s interest in reading in English classes through various interactive platforms, as well as developing vocabulary, critical thinking, and memory through various logical tasks.

During the exchange of experience, the English language teachers from M. Lomonosov Secondary School of Ulan district, E.M. Abraimova, M.S. Eskendirova, T.K. Faizullina demonstrated techniques and methods of lesson planning by setting educational goals and improving schoolchildren’s reading techniques in English language classes.

The event concluded with a reflection session involving the participants.
