Schoolchildren from East Kazakhstan region participated in the Republican New Year’s Tree event held on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “ZHANA ZHYL RESPUBLIKA TORINDE” in Astana city

On December 29, 2023, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a New Year's Tree event in the Astana Opera Theater on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “ZHANA ZHYL RESPUBLIKA TORINDE” in Astana city. 

The goal of the New Year celebration was to ensure that the best children had a festive break during the winter holidays and to create unforgettable memories of joy, games and fun.

From East Kazakhstan region, 5 best schoolchildren including orphans, children from low-income and large families, as well as gifted children who have excelled in their studies, sports, creativity or social life took part in the New Year’s Tree event on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana city.

An excursion and cultural-entertainment program was organized for young participants, allowing the children to stay in the capital on 27-29 December, 2023 with visits to the capital’s sights.  

At the New Year's Tree event, The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated the children, emphasizing that the key mission of the state is in caring for the well–being of every young Kazakhstan citizen, and wished them a joyful New Year and successful studies.

Each participant received a greeting card on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a backpack, a gift book, a tablet for learning and sweets as New Year gifts.
