Report on the organization and conduct of the New Year's Celebrations for children on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in East Kazakhstan region and Akim of the region

The New Year holiday is a symbol of unity, solidarity, optimism and hope for a better future in the upcoming year, bringing together all citizens around common values and traditions. According to good tradition, on December 24, 2023, Ertis Concert hosted a New Year's Celebration for young residents of the region on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, a New Year's Celebration was held on behalf of Akim of East Kazakhstan region entitled “Kosh keldin, Zhana zhyl!”.

This year, the participants of the exciting festive program were 450 children aged 9 to 13 years old from among orphans, children left without parental care, children from low-income and large families, children with special educational needs, as well as gifted children who have achieved high progress at school, sports, creativity or social life.

The young participants embarked on a journey into the world of New Year's wonders and magic, where they met with the national heroes of famous animated films and folk tales. 

Akim of East Kazakhstan region Ermek B. Kosherbayev congratulated the children and wished them Happy New Year. He emphasized that the state’s key mission is to ensure the well-being of every Kazakhstan child and wished the children a festive spirit and education achievements.

Doing good, warming the hearts of children, teaching them to believe in fairy tales and miracles is the main mission of the holiday. The festive program for children allowed them to unleash their creative and imaginative abilities. Following the exciting festive program, the children received sweets.

On the eve of the most magical holiday, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 200 children received a postcard, a cash certificate amounting to KZT 150,000, and a sweet gift. On behalf of Akim of East Kazakhstan region, 250 children received a cash certificate amounting to KZT 150,000 and a sweet gift.
