Regional competition “Best History Teacher-2023”

On December 12, 2023, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional competition “Best History Teacher-2023”, according to the annual plan.

The goal of the competition is to identify talented, creatively working teachers who have a high level of intellectual development, possess a strong scientific and methodological, informational and spiritually moral culture, are proficient in modern information and communication technologies, and have achieved high results in their professional activities. The competition is to identify, encourage and support creatively working history teachers, as well as disseminate advanced pedagogical experience among history teachers of the region. 

67 teachers participated in the regional and city rounds of the regional competition “Best History Teacher”. The materials of 14 winners of the district (city) rounds were presented at the regional round.

The competition commission evaluated the participants’ lessons, based on curricular and self-analysis of the lesson, a 10-12-minute video recording of the lesson, as well as an essay on the topic “Alash arystaryn ardaktau-Tauelsizdikke kurmet”, completed a test assignment related to the subject and named the winners.

According to the results of the competition, the winners are:

Grand Prix - Asiga A. Tatmanova (Bolganbayev Secondary School –Lyceum of Education Department of Samar district);

I place – Madi K. Meirbayev (Saryterek Secondary School of Education Department of Zaisan district);

II place – Asem S. Bigeldinova (Shokan Ualikhanov School-Lyceum No. 3 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city) and Moldir M. Kambasova (BILIM-INNOVATION East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city);

III place – Natalia V. Elagina (School-Center of Additional Education No. 19 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city); Natalia G. Slatina (Regional Specialized IT School-Lyceum); Saule K. Akhbotina (Maloubinka Secondary School of Education Department of Glubokoe district)

Uzdik portfolio - Elena S. Merkusheva (Verkh-Uba Secondary School of Education Department of Shemonaikha district);

Uzdik videosabak - Daniyar B. Toktarkanov (Kurchum Secondary School No. 5 of Education Department of Kurchum district).
