Results of the regional competition “Mangilik el – bolashakka umtylgan el”

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted the regional competition “Mangilik el – bolashakka umtylgan el” for activists and leaders, in order to popularize the spiritual heritage, traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, supporting the development of culture, aesthetic taste, and creative abilities of students, as well as nurturing hardworking, honest, conscientious and creative citizens.

The competition was attended by the 8th-10th graders– a team of the winners of district (city) rounds.

The competition consisted of two rounds. In the first round, each participant was tested on the history of Kazakhstan and the team captains wrote essays on the topic “Kazakh national customs and traditions”. In the second round, the teams presented a theatrical performance dedicated to the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people.

The participants were evaluated by a qualified jury, consisting of scientists from leading universities, representatives of executive authorities, scientific and creative intelligentsia, and public figures. According to the jury, all the teams demonstrated high preparation for the competition.

The closing ceremony of the competition was attended by I.A. Chernysheva, Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region. Inessa Alexandrovna congratulated all the participants and wished success to the young activists and leaders.

According to the results of two rounds, the winners and prize-winners were announced. The winners were awarded diplomas and cash certificates.

- the team of Samar district.
