Announcement of the first (starting) round of the Republican Olympiad in General Education Subjects for Schoolchildren of Rural Schools

The first round of the I Republican Olympiad in General Education Subjects for schoolchildren of rural schools has kicked off today.

A total of 2772 learners from grades 9-11 have registered to participate in the Olympiad from East Kazakhstan region.

On November 20, 2023, a grand opening ceremony of the Olympiad took place simultaneously in all districts of the region with the participation of deputy akims and heads of education departments of the districts.

I.A. Chernysheva, Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, took part in the opening ceremony of the Olympiad held in Uvarovo village at Uvarovo Secondary School of Glubokoe district.

In her address, Inessa Alexandrovna highlighted that all necessary conditions are being created for rural schools: “The I Republican Olympiad for learners of rural schools is being held in accordance with the instruction of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the aim of creating optimal conditions for identifying and supporting talented young people from rural areas. There will be no losers in this Olympiad, because you all strive to know more. After all, knowledge is a baggage that every person needs, through which much can be achieved, to become successful and contribute to the development of our country. I wish all participants of the Olympiad success!".

The Olympiad is being conducted at the same time in the Republic according to the schedule and will last until November, 29.
