The information concerns a webinar on the topic “Prevention of crimes against minors’ sexual integrity”

Crimes against the life, health, sexual integrity and sexual freedom of minors represent a socially dangerous phenomenon and constitute one of the most dangerous forms of antisocial behavior, and this statement requires no special evidence.

The harm caused to a child as a result of violent crimes leads to deviations in the moral and psychophysical development of minors and poses a threat to their future.

The effectiveness of preventing and combating such crimes is the matter of profound concern to modern society as a whole. For this reason, relentless efforts are being made by various institutions, in particular education and law, to combat this evil.

On November 16, 2023, Orken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Police Department of East Kazakhstan region, represented by the Deputy Head of the Investigative Division of Police Department of East Kazakhstan region, Lieutenant Colonel Gulnara B. Myrzhikbayeva, held a webinar on the topic: “Prevention of crimes against minors’ sexual integrity”.

Psychological childhood traumas have a strong impact on the individual entire subsequent life, shaping their character, future sexual life, mental and physical health, as well as their adaptation in society as a whole.
