Webinar on “Student self-government in a modern school as an effective tool for their development, self-determination and self-actualization”

On November 14, 2023, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a webinar to showcase best practices related to the development of student self-government.  60 deputy principals of schools of the region learned about the experience of A.S. Ivanov Vydrikha Complex General Secondary School-Kindergarten of Shemonaikha district.  

During the webinar, the focus was on the activities of the School Parliament and their role in developing a democratic culture, citizenship, and children’s responsibility.

Following the webinar, all participants agreed that student self-government stimulate students towards social creativity and the ability to act in the interests of their own personal development.
