An interactive lesson “Historical and literary overview of Kemel Tokayev’s life and works”

On November 10, 2023, Orken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an interactive lesson for 10th graders in digital format on the topic: “Historical and literary overview of Kemel Tokayev’s life and works”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founder of the detective genre in the Kazakh literature, the famous writer Kemel Tokayev.

The goal of the lesson is to analyze Kemel Tokayev’s works through the study of his life’s journey, to increase children’s interest in the Kazakh fiction of the detective genre, and to cultivate patriotic feelings and civic position among school students.

Teachers and school students of Bilim-Innovation East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held an interesting lesson about Kemel Tokayev - the founder of the detective genre in Kazakh literature. Through the prism of the writer's view, schoolchildren had the opportunity to plunge into the harsh atmosphere of the war years. The author’s works deeply touched children's souls and sparked genuine interest in the lives of children during the war years. The children learned about previously unknown aspects of the life of our compatriot, the hero of the partisan movement Kasym Kaissenov.

The lesson involved over a thousand of 10th graders of schools of the region.
