Results of the Republican Junior Online Olympiad in Science and Mathematics

On April 23 and 29, 2020, Daryn Republican Research and Methodology Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the Republican Junior Online Olympiad in Science and Mathematics among students of grades 7-8.

The purpose of the Olympiad is to stimulate students' interest in in-depth study of science and mathematics, to improve the system of preparing juniors for higher-level Olympiads.

The Olympiad was attended by learners of grades 7-8 of educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakh and Russian languages of training who study mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The first round involved more than 15,000 school students.

423 school students participated in the first round of the Olympiad from East Kazakhstan region.

Following to the results of the 1st round, 197 participants became winners and prize-winners of the Republican Junior Online Olympiad in Science and Mathematics (I place - 33, II place - 63, III place - 101).
