Single Online Classroom Meeting on the topic “Victory Day. Forever in our memory ...” took place in secondary schools of the region.

On May 6, 2020, all secondary schools of the region held a Single Online Classroom Meeting on the topic “Victory Day. Forever in our memory ...” as part of implementing the action plan of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Single Online Classroom Meeting aims at instilling of Kazakh patriotism among students on the example of the feat of arms of Kazakhstani veterans of the Great Patriotic War, rear workers in rough wartime, fostering a sense of pride in their homeland, for our people and the heroic pages of the Kazakhstan history.

The Single Online Classroom Meeting was attended remotely by 186,278 school students of grades 1-11, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, participants in the siege of Leningrad, former prisoners of concentration camps, representatives of military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, border forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional, city and district museums and libraries, the parent community.  

During the event, teachers used various distance forms: interactive platforms, video tutorials, interviews with participants of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers, presenting project, contests “Postcard to the Veteran” and “Songs of the War Years”, electronic presentations.

Children talked about the members of their family who participated in the Great Patriotic War, about those who defended their homeland at the front and in the rear.
