Results of the August Meeting of Educators of Specialized Educational Organizations “Mission and values of educational space for gifted children in a changing world”

On 15-16 August, 2023, Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an August Pedagogical Meeting of educators of specialized educational organizations at Suleyman Demirel University, Kaskelen, Almaty region. The topic of the Conference “Mission and values of the educational space for gifted children in a changing world”.

The goal of the event is to share promising experiences to enhance the quality of the educational process of gifted children, as well as to determine priority values in raising the younger generation.

The pedagogical conference was attended by the leaders of Daryn Regional Centers, headmasters and deputy headmasters of specialized educational organizations.

On the first day of the conference, the participants were engaged in the following activities: a photo gallery “The World through the Eyes of Gifted Children”, a plenary session, panel sessions, panoramic presentations of innovative ideas from different regions and the Republic, a pedagogical lounge titled “Our Strength is in Unity!”.

On August 16, 2023, the Daryn-25 conference started with demonstrating the video film “Darynnyn Dara Zholy”. Tildash R. Bituova, a veteran of pedagogical work, Alimzhan B. Igenbayev, the Rector of Suleyman Demirel University welcomed the participants. Also, the director of Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center Gazhdembek K. Tursunov delivered a speech during the plenary part.

The formal part of the conference announced the results of the Republican competitions “Best Specialized Educational Organization – 2023”, “Schools that Conquered the Heights of Olympus”, “Best Headmaster – 2023”.

According to the results of the competition, in the nomination “Best Specialized Educational Organization – 2023”, the awards went to BILIM-INNOVATION East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Valeological Specialized School-Complex for Gifted Children.

The diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a significant contribution to the development of education and upbringing were awarded to the director of Daryn Centre of East Kazakhstan region Gaukhar B. Rakhimzhanova, the headmaster of Zhambyl Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children Zhanbol K. Ushakbayev.

All participants of the conference were awarded commemorative medals.
