Online methodical platform “Specifics for SAU and SAQ organizing and conducting in grades 1-10 of comprehensive schools as part of distance learning”

On April 30, 2020, the regional center Shygys of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online methodical platform “Specifics for SAU and SAQ organizing and conducting in grades 1-10 of comprehensive schools as part of distance learning”.

The purpose of the methodological platform: to provide methodological assistance to principals, subject teachers of regional schools, methodologists of district and city departments of education to draw up and conduct SAU and SAQ in the fourth quarter of 2019-2020 academic year in the context of distance learning.

The event was attended by trainers of Ust-Kamenogorsk city branch of the Center for Teaching Excellence, heads of teaching rooms and methodologists of district (city) departments of education, assistant principals of secondary schools and teachers of the region numbering more than 300 people.

The moderator of the online methodical platform - the Director of Shygys RC EA EKO Asanova M.I. shared teachers with the methodological recommendations for summative work approved by the Order No. 168 of the Ministry of Education and Science dated April 30, 2020, emphasized the need of individual approach to schoolstudents.

Within the framework of the event, the trainers of the city branch of the Center for Teaching Excellence: Adilzhanova Dinara Adilgaziyevna, Usenova Didar Ernstovna, Burunbetova Karlygash Kabdrakhmanovna, Islyamova Saltanat Askarovna, Marchenko Elena Alekseyevna gave necessary explanation and methodological recommendations on the example of practical experience in preparing tasks and special conditions for conducting special educational programs in distance learning, as well as showed examples of tasks for elementary grades and in subjects: history, biology, Kazakh language and literature.

Rakisheva Gulmira Baigaliyevna, assistant principal of secondary school No. 15, Abyurova Gulmira Kairkanovna, acting principal, Zdobnina Svetlana Nikolayevna, assistant principal of secondary school No. 39 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city akimat shared their experiences on the SAU and SAQ planning and scheduling.

In the course of the online platform, the teachers of the region shared their experience: Vitvitskaya Evgeniya Pavlovna, an elementary school teacher of Valeological specialized school-complex for gifted children of EA EKR, Otynbayeva Dana Bekenovna, a teacher of Kazakh language and literature of secondary school No. 27 of Semey city, Kirimova Irina Borissovna, a teacher of mathematics of secondary school No. 7 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city akimat, who showed on the example of their lessons how to conduct summative assessment of students with practice worksheets and feedback between teachers and students.

During the methodological platform, as part of the feedback, teachers and methodologists received answers to the questions and recommendations on conducting SAU and SAQ as well as the completion of the school year in a distance format.
