Participation in the summer field geological expedition

Young Technicians’ Station of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region continues its annual summer educational geological practice for the members of the Young Geologist hobby group.

23 young geologists took part in the summer field geological expedition.

The tasks for the children were to explore paleontological objects, conduct hydrogeological research, test the schlich and study the alluvial deposits of the Malaya Ulba River. The students successfully accomplished the tasks, and Nikita Egorov made a unique paleontological discovery - an ammonoidea.
