RESULTS of summer holidays organization in language school camps

On June 9, 2023, Secondary School No. 35 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held a meeting with media representatives to highlight the process of organization of the summer holidays in language school camps.

The goal of the meeting is to highlight the organization of summer holidays in school language camps.

Secondary School No. 35 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region was established in 1962. Since September 1, 2009, schooling has been conducted in the official language. 1,413 learners have completed the 2022-2023 school year. The education quality during this school year amounted to 75.9%. Including, 337 ones are excellent pupils, 622 learners of educational accents. Schoolchildren became winners and prize-winners of many creative competitions and subject Olympiads. During the summer period, the school organized the school language camp “Baldauren” involving 75 primary school children.

During the conversation, the headmaster of the school, Anna M. Taimova (during the summer holidays, the school language camp “Baldauren” is working on the basis of our school as part of implementing the program for Multilingual Education Development) noted that the use of various games contributes to mastering the language in an entertaining way, developing intelligence, getting interested in the language. The school camp organizes communicative games with children (to learn vocabulary, practice pronunciation, conversational skills), the tem and inter-team events (language competitions, quizzes, projects, creating team newspapers), educational creative workshops (dance and music master classes), theater staging. The program for the Russian and English languages learning is aimed at developing conversational skills in children and is designed for the entire period of the school camp.  

As part of the program for Multilingual Education Development for 2023-2025, the efforts are underway to learn languages in all children's school camps of East Kazakhstan region.
