School of Foster Parents in East Kazakhstan region

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2020, citizens who’d like to adopt a child, become his/her guardian, trustee, foster caregiver (with the exception of close relatives) should pass training at the School of Foster Parents.

Schools of Foster Parents function at educational institutions for orphans and children left without parental care, as well as in branches of the National Adoption Agency.  

School service is free. A certificate of psychological training is issued upon completion of training. After receiving the certificate, potential foster parents can apply to the body that performs the functions of the state for guardianship at the place of residence for registration as a candidate for foster parents.
