Roundtable

On May 25, 2023, a zoom roundtable was held on the topic “Increasing access to preschool education, improving the quality of secondary education, higher and vocational education”.  

The meeting was chaired by Nurtore B. Zhusup, Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chair of the Committee for Social-Cultural Development and Science.

The following experts presented their reports to the attention of the audience:

Sholpan T. Karinova - First Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kuanysh A. Eraliyev - Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maksat S. Kikymov - First Deputy Chair of the Board, a member of the Board of Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat T. Zhunusov - Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting participants addressed a wide range of issues: the content of school programs, the safety of the educational space, raised issues of global trends in the education and the prospects for their implementation in Kazakhstan.
