Meeting with young teachers (School-Wide Lesson Study Day)

Young Teacher School is the most important cycle of educational management, the system that creates conditions for the professional and personal growth of a young teacher.

On May 17, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with a branch of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held a meeting with young teachers in the form of a school-wide lesson study day. It took place at IT-School-Lyceum of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, within the framework of the action plan of Young Teachers’ Club Phoenix in order to provide organizational and methodological assistance in mastering and introducing the Lesson Study approach into the educational process.

As part of the event, teachers of IT-School-Lyceum conducted research lessons in primary grades, in all disciplines in the middle and senior grades.

Following the lessons, 10 focus groups analyzed the lessons and research activities of the school year.

The results of the club's work for the 2022-2023 school year have been summed up with adoption of recommendations for the next school year.  

The event was attended by 50 young teachers of the region.
