School accessible to all!

Each school of the region should create conditions for education of children with special educational needs. This task has been successfully achieved for more than 20 years by School-Center of Additional Education No. 19.

Back in 2002, the school was one of the first in the Republic to become accessible to children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Since then, the teaching staff of the school has collected a wealth of practical experience in organizing inclusive education.

That is why in 2019 this school was named as a leader in teaching children with visual impairments; a grade for blind children was opened here with the support of the Dara Foundation.

Currently, the school has 71 children with special educational needs. Training is carried out by 98 teachers. Psychological and pedagogical support is provided by special teachers: defectologist-typhlopedagogue, speech therapists, psychologists who have been trained by the leading typhlopedagogues of the CIS Venera Z. Deniskina and Natalya P. Shvedova.

The school has launched unique areas of additional education such as Clay Therapy, Goalball, and Table Tennis.

Children also play music. There is a leaner of the 6th grade, the winner of the Grand Prix of the International and Republican Music Competitions, Dosym, who with his teacher A.S. Mukhamedzhanov are currently preparing for the next regional music competition.  

On June 5, 2023, four children of the school will take part in the First Republican Table Tennis Tournament for Blind Children.
