Regional online workshop “Prospects for school physical education development and its role in the education of a harmonious personality”

On May 5, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the annual plan, held a regional round table called “Prospects for teachers’ personality development and the use of new methods of teaching physical education, improving professional skills, cognitive activity of teachers”.

The goal of the round table is to provide all-round personality development, improving the skills and cognitive activity of teachers using new methods of teaching physical education.  

The event was attended by methodologists of District, City Education Departments and teachers of regional secondary schools.

During the event, the following experts shared their experience:

Ruslan J. Israilov, a teacher of physical education of M. Auezov Secondary School No. 17 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on the topic “The influence of physical exercises on learners’ progress”;

Galina A. Kykmanova, a teacher of physical education of Regional Specialized School Lyceum for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on the topic “Pedagogical skills of a teacher of physical education as a key to success in motivating learners to study”;

Zhanerke S. Serikova, a teacher of physical education of Secondary School No. 26 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city “Forming a healthy lifestyle through playing Volleyball”;

Konstantin A. Larionov, a teacher of physical education of School-Gymnasium No. 12 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on “Forming a healthy lifestyle in the process of physical education of learners”;

The event was followed by feedback where the participants answered questions, exchanged views, and adopted recommendations.

Moderator: Shynar U. Kemelbayeva, a methodologist for basic military and technical training, physical education, music and art of Learning Content and Education Quality Monitoring Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
