Regional training workshop “Intellectual potential of young people as a driver of industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan”

On April 20, 2023, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional training workshop called “Intellectual potential of young people as a driver of industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan” for educators of economic disciplines of TVE organizations of East Kazakhstan region. It took place on the basis of Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College, according to the annual plan of the Regional Methodological Economic Association of Educators.

The goal of the workshop is to share practices, forming economic culture, entrepreneurial skills of students while studying economic disciplines, addressing current issues of teaching economic disciplines in colleges.  

The guests of the workshop were E.N. Berezinskaya - Abilova (Chair of Atameken Regional Council of Business Women of East Kazakhstan region, Chair of the Committee for Entrepreneurship Promotion under the Public Council of East Kazakhstan region), D.B. Toktasynov, Zh.A. Sergazin, A.G. Duisekenova (Managers-consultants of the Entrepreneurs Service Center of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of East Kazakhstan region).

The workshop presented the reports on the following topics: “Prospects for women's entrepreneurship development in the region”, “Results of the research of the process of students’ economic competencies formation in the system of secondary vocational education”, “New economic policy of competitive specialists”, “The relevance of studying economic disciplines for students of the TVE organizations”.

Relevant recommendations were adopted following the results of the workshop.

All speakers were awarded Letter of Thanks from Vocational Education Center of East Kazakhstan region.
