Choosing a profession is an important step

Career guidance event “MY PRO” is held for schoolchildren of the city in order to implement the third direction of the Address of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan “A Fair State. One Nation. Prosperous Society”.

Choosing a profession is one of the most difficult and important decisions in life.

On 13-14 April this year, the regional festival of professions “My PRO” for school graduates who will soon have to choose a profession was held on the basis of Ust-Kamenogorsk Multidisciplinary Technological College, involving more than 2,000 schoolchildren.  

The competition program of the festival familiarized schoolchildren with the wonderful world of professions and helped them feel free among the varieties of professions and finally establish themselves in choosing their future profession.

All participants of the Festival received detailed information about professions, participated in mini-quests and master classes, and were able to fully familiarize with the professions of interest.

The result of this event was the adequate choice and orientation of schoolchildren in choosing a profession. After all, the right choice of profession is confidence, peace of mind and material well-being in adulthood.
