Open lesson “Solving experimental problems” by Irina A. Lushpay, a teacher of chemistry of School-Lyceum No. 11 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan

On April 10, 2023, an open lesson was held by a teacher of chemistry of School-Lyceum No. 11 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Irina A. Lushpay on the topic “Solving experimental problems”. It took place at School-Lyceum No. 11 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Department of East Kazakhstan region in order to generalize and systematize knowledge about qualitative reactions to organic substances, enhancing skills for the rational determination of organic substances, improving the technique of performing a chemical experiment with due regard for the safety rules.

The lesson was conducted in the form of practical work for the 11th graders. Irina A. Lushpay has been teaching at the lyceum for 25 years, a teacher-researcher. She developed and tested: the program for the course “Solving complicated and non-standard problems in chemistry in grades 8-11” (2011), the program for the course “Actual tasks of chemistry” (2014), the program for the course “Chemical experiment using information technology” (2012). Schoolchildren of Irina Antonovna each year win prizes at city, regional and republican chemistry Olympiads. Being participants of the annual tournament of Chemical Kaleidoscope, the school team has been winning prizes for 8 years.
