Regional online workshop for teachers of the Russian language and literature of schools with the Russian language of instruction “Implementing a competency-based approach – forming learners’ creative productivity level”

On March 29, 2023 In order to provide methodological assistance, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop called “Implementing a competency-based approach – forming learners’ creative productivity level” for teachers of the Russian language and literature of secondary schools of the region.

The following experts of the online workshop shared their experience on how they implement the techniques and approaches of LS and Action Research in their practice:

Svetlana V. Budkeyeva, a teacher of the Russian language and literature of School-Lyceum No. 11 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on “Shaping learners’ key competencies (4 K) in the process of teaching the course of Multimedia Journalism;

Larisa N. Tikhonova, a teacher of the Russian language and literature of Regional Specialized IT - School-Lyceum of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Developing productive reading at the Russian language and literature classes.”

During feedback, the participants exchanged views on the system of the implementation of functional literacy, design and research work from their practices, received methodological recommendations.
